Since early October, iOS 5 users have been patiently waiting for an untethered jailbreak for the iDevices. Here is some amazing news: The untethered has been achieved and implemented!

The public release should be out very shortly and so far it will support all devices on iOS 5.0 (not 5.0.1 although pod2g says 5.0.1 will be untethered shortly after releasing the 5.0 untether) with the exception of the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2.
